When You’re the Madonna and the Whore

Narcissistic Abuse is What Happens When He Can’t Reconcile Sexually Desiring a Woman that He Also Sees as His Mother

“She should be comfortable allowing this man, her man, the freedom to “roam”.

The Mother and the Whore.

This dual archetype is nothing new. It is an extension of the “Oedipus Complex” named by Sigmund Freud in 1899. Oedipus is a character in Greek Mythology that mistakenly killed his father and married his mother … and there it is. The inner subconscious marriage of a male’s desire to become the leading man in his mother’s life while also perpetrating the violent elimination of the dominant male figure in his own life. The only male figure that stands in the way of his “absolute domination” of his environment, his creator, and himself.

With this desire submerged in the back wall of a budding Narcissistic male’s subconscious the idea of, “what a woman should be”, is formed via the observations of his mother. Many men are excited by a woman that exhibits the classic traits of Divine Feminine energy that are often associated with motherhood.

These men enjoy being coddled, nurtured, forgiven, cared for, pampered, worshipped, and given endless freedom. These men enjoy the idea of being “spoiled by their woman”. These men were often raised as “momma’s boys” or “grandma’s baby”. They may even be only children or the last born to a large family.

These men are accustomed to being the center of female attention and adoration, and as adult males, they “shop” for women that will assist in keeping it this way.

They may have even grown up with negligent, absent, or cruel mothers.

They are “motherless momma’s boys” looking for a Divine Feminine energy to fill the void that lives inside.

All of these men carry a quiet belief that their female partners should be as soft and selfless as a mother would be toward her newborn son. She should be comfortable allowing this man, her man, the freedom to “roam”. She should be perfectly fine being patient with him when he “misbehaves” or “forgets” to treat her respectfully. She should always be…
