You know what’s sad, watching a washed-up forty-something speak from the throne of foolishness and youthful folly that is reserved for teens and twenty-somethings with no regard for the obvious vice life has become to their middle-aged ass.
You know the type.
They had big dreams of being a business tycoon or something similar, but they partied like a rock star instead — so they go around offering unsolicited business advice to friends, lovers, strangers, and co-workers that never asked for it even though they flushed their own business dreams down the tubes years ago … but why stand accountable for that? It is so much easier to pretend to be a fat cat around friends and family, so this becomes their lifestyle. You know, fraud, or being a big old fish in a small young pond. You get it.
